well, neither the snowman nor the ghostbuster resulted. instead, i came up with the one of the best costumes i've ever had-- spongebob squarepants. there were a few suits who didn't know who i was, and two french people who apparently thought i was cheese. c'est la vi. oh, the popularity of spongebob. i met all sorts of celebrities: kid rock, the queen of hearts, austin powers, and many more. i have to give a huge shout out to geneva who literally watched my back for most of the night. i had little to no peripheral vision, so she took pictures for me and made sure i didn't knock anybody around. also, thanks to tammy and her friend for having a party, and judie, renee, karen, and chris for their party. all good times. oh, the stories that spongebob produced. i had my picture taken several times, and i shook hands or shouted hello to groups of people probably about every two minutes when i was walking down the street. other events:
1.) a mother asked if i would be available for her son's birthday party.
2.) twice i had groups large enough around me and shaking hands that someone asked me if i was running for mayor.
3.) a keg stand was done (though not at all successfully)
4.) voted by several random strangers as their "favorite costume yet", "the best costume in nyc", and "i want my vote back from the last costume contest, because you are so much better".
5.) spanked by a dominatrix (corrupting everyone's view of childhood characters) and then asked if i wanted to blackmail nickelodeon.
6.) having a mother move on the subway, because her son really wanted to sit by spongebob.
7.) and my favorite--getting off a subway car, as the entire subway car sang the spongebob squarepants theme song led by some guy who knew all the lyrics (very impressive).
next year will be difficult to top, but i've already got some ideas. i'm thinking something really interactive this time. i'm thinking maybe a game like simon or connect four, and if you beat me i'll give you some candy or something. happy halloween. next holiday! veterns day? umm....

if there is any holiday better than st. patrick's day, it's probably not halloween. though i'm getting pretty geared up for halloween. not only for the thrill of dressing up, getting drunk, and raiding the pharmacies and grocery stores for discount candy later, but for the excitement of getting drunk. wait, already mentioned that one. anyway, i'm currently working on the blueprints for this year's costume. i want something creative, maneurable through crowds and subways, and cheap. currently, i've got two ideas going through me noggin'. can't decide if i should go as a ghostbuster or a snowman. that's the dilema. how do you spell dilemna? i should probably be more worried about grad school right now. i'm doing pretty well, but i feel it quickly slipping through my fingers (though that's a topic for another time). anyways, let me know if you've got any thoughts (e.g. snowmen in october would be cool or that peter vankman is just dreamy...etc.) later pro skater.

well, it's been a while since i got to mess with the webpage. i'm going to try to update things at least once a week. chances are good that everyone has stopped reading this stuff anyway. i've just been a tad bit busy with grad school stuff. for those who don't know, i'm going to grad school. i've updated some pictures, and i'll hopefully get some pictures of my place up soon. for right now, it's back to the books. that's all folks.
